Our Software's History
The software previously known as AVRO Retail Minder was created in 1992 in a 'DOS' format from the hometown of Newcastle, NSW.
Moving with the times it was important for software to grow with Microsoft's latest operating system Windows XP. Like AVRO, many DOS base point of sale systems were not compatible with Windows XP. The software then went through a conversion phase to become a windows based program for the future. The software has now been operating in a Windows XP environment since 2003.
SAS Online Pty Ltd, a Melbourne based company, was as an exclusive reseller of the software in the state of Victoria since 1998. Late 2006, SAS Online Pty Ltd took full ownership and the rights to AVRO Retail Minder. The new name for the software became SAS Retail Minder. The software continues to grow and is compatible with the latest operating system released by Microsoft - Windows 7 (32bit & 64bit).
